What is your favourite drink?

It depends on the mood and the moment. If I had to name one drink that works anytime, it’s water—fresh, satisfying, sugar free, and hard to beat. Out to dinner I usually go for beer, always something local or something I haven’t tried before. If we’re drinking wine, I’m happy with whatever my wife chooses. She has impeccable taste and I’m easily pleased. For spirits, I like ouzo—I’ve always loved the taste of aniseed, usually mixed with Coke or Pepsi. For a cheap lunch, I’ll still happily get a caramel milkshake. If I want something genuinely refreshing, it’s raspberry cordial (Sirop Rieme Framboise) with mineral water. And if it’s coming out of a can, give me bitter lemon.
