Jesus’ T&Cs – Mark 8:22-9:1

Who is Jesus to you?

We ask so many questions—
Who will I marry?
What job will I take?
Where will I live?
But only one question
echoes into eternity.

Who do you say I am?

The crowds had their theories—
The Baptist, Elijah, a prophet, a threat.
Peter says it plainly:
You are the Messiah.
God’s King.
But his vision is still blurred.

Because Jesus says:
I must suffer. I must die. And I will rise.

Must?
Yes—because your sin is that serious.
Because his love is that deep.
Because there is no Christ
without the cross.

And if you would follow him—
these are the Terms & Conditions:
Deny yourself.
Take up your cross.
Follow me.

Not as a hobby.
Not as a Sunday gig.
Not as a bonus feature
in your curated life.

But as the headline.
The cost is high.
It may break your comfort.
It may cost you friends.
It may strip your status.
It may even cost you your life.

And still—
he offers this path
because it is the one
that leads to life.

Who is Jesus to you?

If he is not the Son of God,
then live your life—
build your empire,
travel the world,
win the applause.
And lose your soul.

But if he is
the Son of God—
if he is the Messiah,
the suffering King,
then let him turn
your life
upside down.

And you will have him
for eternity.

“He is no fool
who gives up
what he cannot keep
to gain what he cannot lose.” #
